Atheists Say

Christianity; an athiests perspective.

Christianity; The popular belief that a celestial Jewish baby who is also his own father, born from a virgin mother, died for three days so that he could ascend to heaven on a cloud and then make you live forever only if you symbolically eat his flesh, drink his blood and telepathically tell him you accept him as your lord & master so he can remove an evil force from your spiritual being that is present in all humanity because an immoral woman made from a man's rib was hoodwinked by a talking reptile possessed by an malicious angel to secretly eat forbidden fruit from a magical tree.

3) who is also his own father,

This is the process.

He is his own father because Mary got pregnant without having intercourse. That is one of many prophesies to help us identify him, but also it is the process every soul must take to qualify for the eternity.

Hebrews 9: 27

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

A spiritual body won't die unless it's one of the ones that get blotted out at the end of the judgment. That's the death of the soul, and it is "after" they are judged. The death in this verse is before the judgment. The only death before the judgment is of the flesh.

Do you think all those souls who already lived were "created" at the time they were born? That can't be. God obviously existed before Jesus was born. He also knew Jeremiah before Jeremiah was in his mom's belly.

Jeremiah 1: 5

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Maybe that's because Jeremiah was where God was. Of he knew him. When God ordained him a prophet he did not make him a puppet. We have free will. Jeremiah had choices all along his life. God said this because he knew Jeremiah before he sent him. He knows his character, and how he will act... even under the pressure of the flesh.

Guess what? Where do you think we were? When did time for each of us start? Our souls were with God in that other dimension before we "entered the womb" and became flesh

John 16: 28

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

The technical details of how each soul gets squeezed in at conception isn't the focus. Us being there before coming here is the key. And after our time on this game board is done we also "return" to the Father who sent us.

Ecclesiastes 12: 7

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

We can't return to a place we haven't been...
