Commentary

BaTora is dedicated to commentary on the Biblical implications for our time.
My focus is separating the pageantry and traditions of modern religion from the reality of what we are about to face. I’m not interested in pointing out who is right and who is wrong, because when the context that was written for our time is explored those things get addressed naturally. The Bible contains many messages that were penned specific to our time today. In some cases (like Daniel's) he was told the information wasn’t for him to understand, but that in the end times there would be those who did understand. That doesn’t diminish the scriptures as they pertained to the people of different times, but it does show that even back then God had a plan and a guarantee that these things would take place.
There is a generation that will experience the things written in Revelation. The details are presented in numerous other books throughout the New and Old Testaments. Most modern-day churches don’t deal with this subject matter because they are focused on the points of distinction that made their denomination break away from their founding source. The danger is they have a vulnerability for participating in the great falling away that is foremost comprised of the churches (that should be a red flag), but because the subject matter is the Second Coming these denominations will appear to be knowledge experts for non-believers who will look to them for resolution (like sheep to the slaughter). It was written about, and it will happen. It was also written that God would seal the truths needed to survive this event in the minds of His election first. The question you have to ask yourself is if you are content with the status quo of your church doctrine, or if you would rather learn the details of the information Daniel and others penned for our time?
Jesus taught the Parable of the Fig Tree. He insisted we learn it. It identifies the generation that shall not pass until all the things regarding end time events occur. Things like the tribulation, the great apostasy, the revealing of the son of perdition, and much more will take place during this time. A time known as the hour of temptation. It is a timeline based on the 70th week of Daniel. During this period we will see:
- The Two Witnesses. They lead those who refuse to follow suit with mainstream religion when the anti-Christ appears and presents himself has Christ returned. They will put forth the testimony that snaps people into reality from all walks of life, different religions, and traditions of man that have kept people from understanding.
- The arrival and identification of the anti-Christ. Many people think this is a person who is born here and most likely grown up already. They think he is someone who is despicable and evil in his actions, whereas he is a supernatural being who will come in peacefully and prosperously. He will come to convince the world that his appearance is the second coming of Christ, and many religions, nations, and even people in your family will endorse him.
- The great falling away takes place by those who follow the “instead of” Christ. The “anti” in anti-Christ also means “instead of”, it is not “against” like most teach. The one coming is claiming to be Christ, he against Jesus holding the position, but he's not against the role of Christ. The one coming will be in the same vehicles that Ezekiel described, that Enoch and his armor bearer witnessed, and that inspired many of the cultures of ancient man.
- He isn’t coming alone. He is coming with the Fallen Angels, and they will be his entourage. They are religous experts that will position their role to prepare you for Christ. The multitudes believe the peaceful maneuvers and prosperous miracles that these supernatural beings present, they will believe in their hearts that it is truly Christ returned. People will appeal to him to help their families and friends that don’t believe. This is why it is written family will betray each other unto death, because the name of this being is death, and family will turn each other in because they think they are helping to save them.
- There is a group that will not follow the imposter claiming to be here to rapture away his flock. Those who refuse to follow suit will be delivered up to testify for their positions. On trial, they will speak the cloven tongue of Acts, whereas all who hear will hear in their native dialects without an interpreter. English will hear English, Japanese will hear Japanese, German hear German, etc. The cloven tongue uses no interpreters, because it is the Holy Spirit that will be speaking through them.
- The second coming of Christ is the last major event we will see. He returns to find the world following the imposter, and nurturing along his doctrine. It is no wonder that it is written He returns with a rod of anger. He will cleanse the temple mount while the battle of Hamon-Gog happens in the Alaskan skies. These very short wars will usher in a time known as The LORD’S Day, or the Millennium... which is the time period they were trying convince you were already in. Never forget he has to stagger the timeline to get you to believe you are farther down the road than you are (so it aligns with who he claims to be).
Does all this sound new to you? It shouldn’t. Jesus taught it. Paul, Peter, John, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Jude… I can go on and on and on… Of course the best thing for you to do is get in class.
