Many past and present cultures have folklore regarding extraterrestrial visitors, as do a lot of religions. There is plenty of disagreement about who they are, but there is also a growing acceptance that they do exist. Archeology has shown that some historical cultures have displayed levels of intelligence and technology we have yet to reach. Where did that information come from, and why did it stop?
Modern science has not reached the level of being able to verify a UFO, but that is more of an indicator of our scientific achievement… and has no impact on reality. In fact, if contact happens it will instantly turn the world of science on its head. The occupants could tell us their home is a billion light years away, or that they came from the center of the earth, and we would have no way to challenge either. Most dangerously, they could cite scriptures from diverse religions to support theological claims, to unify religions, and to pull in those who would believe them. Humanity is vulnerable and ripe.
Man has twisted and taught such a variety of doctrine that it seems either nobody knows the truth, or that the truth has no tangible relevance in our daily life. As a result, religion has become a globally accepted banner in which a person can find refuge regardless how ridiculous the basis of their beliefs. The fact is 999 lies do not nullify a single truth if a single truth exists. Such a truth would unify doctrine and science.
If we are contacted by a group in similar vehicles as described by Ezekiel, where do they come from? What do they want with us? And, what is in store for us?
Wine Thief is where science and theology wed in truth.
